for the Advancement of Community Care
WELCOME
It is the mission of the Brancati Center to improve the health of communities by developing new models of healthcare in partnership with community organizations. Our Center is organized into three well-integrated units: Community Partnership, Education, and Research. Our focus is on providing access to evidence-based programs through partnerships with the community where people live, as well as to demonstrate outcomes.
Dear Neighbors,
With the COVID-19 vaccines, there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel of the pandemic. However, the situation in our country remains serious as we battle through another surge; we have surpassed 500,000 lives lost. There are also new variants- versions of the virus that have mutated that may be more infectious.
We have begun the roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccines in our country. The vaccines, along with continued safety precautions, are an important part of getting this pandemic under control and to safely returning to the things we've all missed. In this issue of the Bulletin, we discuss the COVID-19 vaccine, including FAQ's and information on how to access the vaccine in Maryland
